I bought Deirdre for a baby shower gift to go with the book, Make Way for Ducklings.  She was a little too big for a new baby, and didn't look too much like the ducks in the book, so I let my grand kids give  her a home.  I then ordered a smaller, more life-like duck to go with the book.
