Granted, at around 10 inches, this plush hippo is a tad smaller than the real thing – which can measure up to around 18 feet – but his personality certainly packs a punch, as does his concern for the planet and all who live here. Made from 100% recycled raw materials, the Earth Pals 10 Inch Plush Hippo by Fiesta is incredibly soft and cuddly – you won’t believe he’s made from plastic bottles – with a light gray coat and darker accents on his hooves and teeny tiny ears. Despite the fact that hippos are also known as river horses and spend their days in the water, they can’t, in fact, swim at all and instead simply walk or run along the riverbed; they more than make up for their lack of swimming skills by reaching speeds of up to 25 MPH on land, though, so be prepared for this stuffed hippo to come barreling into your life!
