Holds Up Wonderful to Lots of Play |

I first picked up this little penguin while at the Henry Doorly Zoo as a momento for my 6 month's old first trip to the zoo, planning on it more being something to put aside and not play with. After a long car trip and allowing her to play with it to try and pacify her, it became her favorite toy.
I was a little concerned when I saw that it was not rated for under 3 and so thought of removing the eyes and embroidering them to make it safer but the eyes are impossible to take off as far as I can see, and after going to Aurora's website, they mention using a heavy washer system for the eyes for safety. So I let my daughter keep playing with it even the eyes.
I ordered two more penguins since I was concerned about it holding up in the washing machine but the original I bought six months ago still looks great.
(I've just not put it in the dryer.) This is a sturdy little toy. I'm glad she chose it as her "lovey" and that the price is not bad since I've now bought three!
