Did you know that the word Velociraptor means "speedy thief"? Although commonly portrayed  as a larger dinosaur, it was actually only about 3 feet tall.  However, its viciousness is not exaggerated - it was a clever and cunning dinosaur, and was a fierce hunter!

Our plush Velociraptor by Aurora is a colorful and fun recreation of this prehistoric animal.  Measuring 12 inches tall, this stuffed velociraptor is made of a bright green plush "skin", with a red back. Its toes have been colored to give the appearance of claws, and its third toe features a sickle like plush "claw" that velociraptors were known for.  On the front side of this plush velociraptor's sits a mouth full of felt teeth, and on the back is brown furry "plumage".  It also features amber lock washer eyes which provide added safety and durability. As with all of Aurora's quality stuffed animals, this plush velociraptor is made of all new kid safe materials and meets or exceeds all US and European safety standards.
