Did you know that although it is usually referred to as a dinosaur, Pteranodons were actually a member of the Pterosaur - or flying reptile - family? With a wingspan measuring up to a whopping 33 feet across, pteranodons were much larger than modern day birds!

Our plush Pteranodon by Aurora is a colorful and fun recreation of this prehistoric animal.  Measuring 12 inches tall, this stuffed pteranodon is made of a bright red plush "skin", with a white belly and brown wings. Its toes have been colored to give the appearance of claws.  On the front side of this plush pteranodon's head sits a bright yellow beak, and on the back is the bright red head crest that they were so well known for! It also features amber lock washer eyes which provide added safety and durability, and a stitched mouth.
