It may look like a cross between a pig and an anteater, but the Malayan tapir is actually more closely related to horses and rhinoceroses!  The Malayan tapir is the largest of the 4 species found in the world, and can weigh up to 800 pounds.  This unusual looking animal may not be widely known, but actually dates back tens of millions of years, and scientists think that it has changed very little in all that time.
